Smoothing Group

Smoothing group is a term used by extreme track makes. Re-Volt uses them to define surface properties, not to indicate the level or smoothness.

(3ds max) In order to assign surface properties to surfaces, you need to apply 'smooth' to it and select a number (1,2,..,30) , each number stands for a surface property (such as grass, transparency etc...). It is possible to assign more than one surface property to mesh.
