Riva TNT2 is the signature car of nVidia corporation, another distribution that has not yet been found by the community. It can also be found in the Developer Version of Re-Volt with a full and complete Parameters.txt file. Oddly, there is also a second version of the parameters of Riva TNT2 in the carinfo.txt of PC Team demo, in the place of Aquasonic — its visual counterpart.
While Riva TNT2 in the Dev version has a mammoth top speed of 36 mph (58 kph) and decent acceleration of 2.36 m.s², it also has the worst handling compared to other demo cars, as the car is very difficult to control when it steers left or right, attributed from its abysmal grip.
The PC Team variant however, gives the car optimal control, although it is somewhat stiff in terms of turning radius, similar to Genghis Kar and Evil Weasel. It is also noticeably slower than the Dev variant, although it accelerates much faster. Furthermore, the parameter from the PC Team distribution is more suitable for Rookies, unlike the Dev version in which the top speed fits better between the Advanced cars. Like PC XL8 R, the PC Team parameters rates Riva TNT 2 as a Pro car, despite its Rookie-based parameters.
In summary, the parameters in both variants differ from the following aspects:
- Frontend display and car selectability data
- Top speed
- Body mass
- Wheels' engine ratio
- Wheels' grip
- Wheels' kinetic friction
Both parameters also have a missing AI section.
- In the PC Team's carinfo.txt, this car is called Riva TNT 2, with a space between TNT and 2.
- In the Aquasonic folder from the DEV version exists a blue version of the Riva TNT2 texture, which is named "rivaTNT2.bmp." The blue texture was used in a repaint made by fans, which was called "NV GeForce."
- The parameters of this car was used as a base for creating the Gamespot's, as seen on its own Parameters.txt file.
